Here is an incredibly beautiful and breathtaking Art Deco platinum opal and diamond ring that was entirely hand made in platinum during the fabulous and decadent 1920's.
This ring has such a simple yet captivating design that is centered around the fabulous diamond in the centre and the two solid opals and all highlighted with more diamonds on the top as well as on the side.
In the centre is a European cut diamond that measures an impressive 1.25 carats and is G in colour and VS in clarity and sparkles so beautiful and on its own, there is no denying that a diamond over 1 carat is wonderful, and when it is 1.25 carats and a genuine antique diamond, this makes it so much more special and unique.
Then on each side are 13 mine cut diamonds which were on of the earliest forms of diamond cuts that date back over 300 years ago so having this cut of diamond makes this ring even more unique and special. And on each band is an additional mine cut diamond to add that extra pizazz to an already very special ring. These additional diamonds total 0.38 carats and although small, they compliment the ring perfectly.
And finally at each end are those fabulous solid opals that have so much fire and life to them and are perfectly matched and total 0.60 carats.
On the outside of the band there is the smallest hallmark from being made in platinum in France just proving how incredible so many genuine French Art Deco rings are with a style and design all of their own.
This is one of the most incredible examples of an opal and diamond Art Deco ring, and one that is just spectacular.
