The Art Deco era of the 1920's to the 1940's was all about decadence and a new era after the Great War and money was abound to create fabulous jewellery with new designs such as these very attractive and easy to wear Art Deco earrings set with carved rock crystal and each set with a diamond.
These Art Deco earrings measure 8.3mm across and in the centre each earring is milgrain set with a 0.05 carat diamond making these earrings so elegant on the ear and very easy to wear day or night.
Rock crystal is from the quartz family and is wonderful to be used for carvings as it has a natural colour to it and is durable enough to wear all the time and was even sometimes used in the bases of Art Deco clocks showing just how strong the material is.
Set on 9ct gold posts with butterfly fittings, these are such an elegant pair of earrings that feel so comfortable on the ear and will always be loved.
