$0.00

Designs in Art Deco jewellery resulted in some truly spectacular pieces being made, and here are a magnificent pair of Art Deco ruby and diamond earrings from the 1920s.
Beautifully designed with a wonderful geometric design, they are made in platinum which is a spectacular precious metal that was popular during the 1920’s. Being so pure, platinum retains its pure white colour and is such a strong material to secure the rubies and diamonds safely.
Set with lovely white diamonds and rubies that all have a fabulous strong red colour really makes these earrings stand out so elegantly on the ear.
In each earring there are four carre cut rubies each separated by three single cut diamonds surrounding the vibrant diamond in the centre. With an additional diamond set on the post, the rubies total for both earrings to 0.12 carats and all the smaller diamonds total 0.72 carats with the two centre diamonds having a combined weight of 1.20 carats. The size of these centre diamonds combined with the elegant design of the earrings, really guarantees that they will always be admired and noticed.
The setting around each of the diamonds is called millgrain setting which is more beautiful and special that just bezel setting, and this millgrain setting can be seen as the elegant crimping along the edge of the platinum which was again very popular in Art Deco jewellery.
From all angles, these are such a spectacular pair of genuine Art Deco ruby and diamond earrings that will always be loved and admired.
