Here is an exquisite brooch that is the epitome of the Art Deco era, from the high quality in which it was made, and the design which showcases why Art Deco jewellery has never gone out of fashion or style.
This remarkable brooch was entirely hand made in platinum in the 1920's by the English company Russels Ltd who were a clock and jewellery company which started their firm in 1745 and had a Royal warrant to make clocks for Queen Victoria in the 1800's. And seeing the quality of this brooch, it is no surprise to find a piece made by them of this quality.
Measuring 55mm by 11.5mm, the dimensions of this brooch are perfect to sit on any outfit and be admired from near or far. With such an elegant sculptured design that will be hard not to have you running your finger across to feel it, the brooch is set with eight European cut diamonds in the centre and twenty three more European cut diamonds on each side which gives the brooch an impressive diamond weight of 4.16 carats.
With the addition of nine fancy cut blue sapphires on each side that total 0.63 carats that contrast perfectly against both the sparkle of the diamonds and pure white of the platinum, then you have a brooch that is destined to become a much admired piece of jewellery that is sure to become a treasured family heirloom.
Fitted in its original box, this brooch is as exciting to admire as it is to wear.
