Art Deco sapphire and diamond engagement ring from the 1920’s
This Art Deco engagement ring is set with a magnificent 3.10 carat Ceylonese sapphire. Ceylonese sapphires have long been regarded as the finest in quality thanks to their colour that was often called “Cornflower” blue. Often with excellent transparency that will allow the light to enter throughout the stone, the hardness and durability of both sapphire and rubies make them excellent gemstones for engagement rings. Art Deco engagement rings remain the most popular of all the styles and eras thanks in part to the wonderful designs that have never gone out of fashion or style.
This Art Deco sapphire and diamond engagement ring from the 1920’s was all hand made in 18ct white gold and platinum and set with single cut diamonds on each side.
