Art Deco sapphire and diamond halo ring

Here is such an elegant Art Deco sapphire and diamond halo ring that was made in the 1920’s, that it looks as beautiful today as when it was made, and would not only suit any finger, but make a stunning engagement ring.

Hand made in 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, bezel set in the centre is a stunning natural sapphire that has such a beautiful blue colour and combined with a magnificent clarity, stands out so well. Measuring 1.45 carats in weight, it is surrounded by twelve  single cut diamonds that total 0.36 carats.

The top measures 11.8mm by 11.5mm across and sits so comfortably on the finger and will no doubt always get the admiration that it rightly deserves.

This is a stunning ring, from an equally stunning era.
