Art Deco Sapphire and diamond ring handmade in platinum

Here is an incredibly beautiful Art Deco Sapphire and diamond ring that was handmade in platinum and looks spectacular on the finger.

Dating from the 1920’s, in the centre is a natural sapphire that measures 4.75 carats and has the most intense deep royal blue colour. This wonderful deep blue matches perfectly with the pure white colour from the platinum and the edge of the setting has the wonderful millgrain setting which is often seen in Art Deco jewellery. The millgrain setting can be seen as the crimping along the edge of the setting which adds such a beautiful extra element to this beautiful ring.

Then there are the twenty diamonds that surround this sapphire which not only add sparkle to the ring, but are set with beautiful straight edges that enhance the sapphire. Again these diamonds are millgrain set to add extra charm and character to the ring. This top section measures 15mm by 14.5mm and leads to the shoulders where another three diamonds are set. The diamonds come together to total 0.66 carats and from every angle this ring sparkles.
