Art Deco sapphire and double row diamond ring made in platinum

Here is a ring that is so beautiful that not only will sit and look so elegant on your finger, it will surprise so many when they discover that it is over 100 years old, yet is still as beautiful and fashionable today as when it was made.

Hand made in platinum in the 1920’s, in the centre sits a beautiful rectangle cut natural sapphire that measures 1.45 carats in weight and displays such a fine blue colour that looks even more amazing set into the pure white colour of the platinum and highlighted by the diamonds.
Instead of having one border of diamonds, this ring has two rows, with the inner border having twenty two single cut diamonds and the outer row a further thirty single cut diamonds. These diamonds come together to total 0.52 carats and sparkle perfectly to highlight not only the sapphire, but the elegant design of the ring.

Looking at the ring from underneath shows such fine and exquisite detail that emphasises the quality of jewellery made during this period as well as the level of attention and detail that can be achieved by making a piece entirely by hand.

Measuring 10.6mm across by 14.8, this ring not only looks stunning on the finger, but sits perfectly as well where it will no doubt always be admired.
