Art Deco “Toi et Moi” ring

Although this ring can so easily suit any finger and for any occasion, thanks to its romantic sentiment, there is no doubt that this will make such a special engagement ring that will be loved forever.

When a ring such as this is set with two stones, it is called a “Toi et Moi” ring which is French for “You and Me”. Believed to have started when Napoleon gave Josephine a sapphire and diamond engagement ring in 1776, this design found popularity again during the Edwardian and Art Deco era’s.

This ring was made in the Art Deco period of the 1920’s, and was handmade entirely in platinum and is set with two European cut diamonds that total 1.46 carats and have such a wonderful sparkle to them that will catch the eye as well as highlighting the wonderful cross over design that symbolises so much.

This ring is not only so attractive and sits so well on the finger, but with its romantic aspect, this is one ring that is sure to be loved and treasured forever.
