Austro-Hungarian Antique diamond pendant made in gold and platinum
$6,750.00
Here is a truly exquisite antique diamond pendant that was made in the former Austro-Hungarian empire and will always get the attention that it rightly deserves.
Exquisitely hand made in 14 carat yellow gold and platinum in the early part of the 20th century, the design of the pendant is so elegant and stylish and combines a charming floral design reminiscent of earlier work of the late 19th and early 20th centuries as well as the geometry of the early Art Deco period.
In the centre the pendant is set with a European cut diamond as well as a further ten more and highlighted with twenty eight rose cut diamonds. The diamonds come together to total 1.02 carats and sparkle beautifully and compliment the design perfectly.
Measuring 28.6mm in diameter, the open work of this pendant really adds to its charm and allure and looks fantastic resting against the skin on the neckline.
As regal today as when it was made over a century ago, this is a fabulous example of jewellery of this era.
