Cartier La Dona Reference 2902

The Cartier La Dona is as unique as it is special. It is a very rare and highly sought after watch due to its short production run and fabulous design.

Released by Cartier in 2006, the Cartier La Dona was made to honour the long-term client of Cartier, the singer and actress Maria Felix (1914-2002). Due to her bold and strong sense of style, she was affectionately given the moniker “La Dona”.

When Cartier made the La Dona in her honour, it was fashioned after her favourite animal in jewellery – the crocodile. Having an asymmetrically shaped watch case, it was to mimic the jaws being open. This case measures 18mm across at the top and 21mm wide at the bottom, giving it such an incredible look on the wrist.

Made in stainless steel in 2008, the dial has Cartier’s distinct look with the Roman numerals that graduate out in size, and is fitted on the beautiful stainless steel band that feels so sleek and comfortable to wear all the time.

With its quartz movement keeping perfect time and with our twelve month warranty, it also comes with its original Cartier date card, and this is both such an elegant and unique Cartier watch that will always be loved and admired.
