The Omega Flightmaster is such an iconic vintage watch by Omega and it is so easy to see why Omega collectors desire this watch so much.
Bought out by Omega in the late 1960’s, the Flightmaster was made for intercontinental travel over different time zones, and this Omega Flightmaster is referred to as the second generation model and this Omega Flightmaster looks sensational on the wrist.
This particular Omega Flightmaster was produced in 1971 and has the manual wind 17 jewelled Omega calibre 911.
The very solid stainless steel case measures 42mm across plus the crown and pushers by 52.5mm from very end to end and is an incredible 15.6mm thick.
One of the biggest problems that with vintage Omega Flightmasters is when genuine Omega parts are put together so someone ends up with an Omega Flighmaster case married with an Omega Flightmaster case back from a different year and an Omega watch band from another year and all put together.
However this particular Omega Flightmaster was purchased from the original owner and everything is genuine from top to bottom.
Just back from a full service, this Omega Flightmaster is ready to go!
