Exquisite antique garnet and chrysoberyl pendant

Made in 15 carat gold, this exquisite pendant measures 27.6mm across by 90.2mm from the bottom to the top of the bow and has such a wonderful rich colour to the gold.
Set in the centre as well as at the bottom are two richly coloured garnets that are complimented by two yellow chrysoberyl’s on each side. Chrysoberyl is a wonderful natural gemstone that is the same family that the famous alexandrite comes from.
With the lower section connected by those fabulous chains that give it a wonderful draping look, turning the pendant over reveals that this is more that just a drop section. Able to hold a photo inside, this will make this pendant so much more personal and special when worn as well a making a wonderful talking point about just how special and unique antique jewellery is.
In wonderful condition, even after 160 years have passed since it was made, this is a truly amazing antique pendant to always be loved and admired.
