Exquisite Onyx and Pearl Locket

Quite often antique jewellery can be so poignant, and here is a lovely antique mourning locket that has the most exquisite floral design set on the front, as well as a locket on the reverse.

Dating from the late Victorian period of the 1890’s, the locket was made in 18 carat yellow gold and onyx and set with that gorgeous floral design on the front that is highlighted with charming seed pearls.

This is such an elegant locket and measuring 37.3mm across by 47.5mm or 62.8mm to the top of the bail, this will always look so good on a gold chain, collar or even a thick black cord to give it a different style.

Fitted in its original box by Lawson & Son, the locket not only looks so incredible, but is still in wonderful condition even after all these years.
