In exceptional condition comes this rare and collectable first series vintage Omega Geneve Dynamic watch from 1968. The Omega Geneve Dynamic was first released in 1968 - the year that this Omega Geneve was made and featured its iconic and easily recognisable oval case design. Just two years later, the Omega Geneve Dynamic went into the Omega DeVille range which had a polished case instead of the radial finish on this one.
This particular Omega Dynamic is in exceptional condition. Far too often the term "as new" or New Old Stock is thrown around in a description, however these are two terms that can be used for this model.
Firstly the case is in incredible condition with the radial finish still intact. This can be seen as the finish on the case that radiates away from the centre and is a finish that can't be replicated outside the Omega watch factory. The case measures 36mm from the 12 to 6 o'clock direction by 41mm from left to right and with its blue dial, white hands and blue sweep second hand, looks sensational on the wrist.
Fitted on a blue Omega Dynamic Corfam band that was originally specifically designed for the Omega Dynamic, the band is actually all one piece from one end to the other as it goes under and around the watch case.
Inside is the brilliant automatic Omega calibre 565 that has just come back fro ma full service, runs perfectly and comes with our twelve month warranty.
In outstanding condition, this Omega Geneve Dynamic is such a brilliant collectable watch that will always be admired.

First series vintage Omega Geneve Dynamic watch from 1968
A brief article on the Genee Dynamic watches. The Omega Geneve Dynamic was first launched in 1968 and was designed with an ellipse watch case shape. The watch case was designed as a unicoc (one piece) case with the crystal hermetically sealed for water resistance to 30 meters. The Omega Geneve Dynamic watch straps were made from Corfam a porous synthetic material and were fixed to the watch case itself.
After only 2 years, the Omega Dynamics were incorporated into the De Ville range with the cases being given a mirror polished finish instead of the radial finish.
