Once in a while you come across a ring or other piece of jewellery that is so beautiful and unique in its own right and here just such a ring.
Made in the Georgian era, this antique ring dates from around 1820 and is astonishing to think that is was made over 200 years ago and has still survived all these years later.
Made in 12ct gold, the ring is set with 4 pieces of hand carved natural red coral.
This coral would likely to have come off the coast of Italy as during this time, this is where most of the coral came from.
From left to right, the ring measures 19.4mm across by 7.32mm wide and sits so well on the finger.
This is a truly wonderful example of an antique ring from the Georgina era, and set with the coral really makes it so exciting to wear.
