Here is such a gorgeous ring that will always be loved and admired by all who see it.
Hand made in 18 carat yellow gold and platinum in the 1920's, this ring takes the traditional cluster design and makes it so much more unique and special thanks to the beautiful "swirl" design for the diamonds on the outside.
In the centre sits a natural sapphire that measures 0.18 carats and has such a beautiful fine blue colour to it. The sapphire is millgrain set which can be seen as the elegant crimping around the edge of the setting, somewhat similar to the edge of a coin, and this technique is not only very beautiful but was popular during the Art Deco era.
And then there are the six single cut diamonds that total 0.06 carats and are set into the most charming setting. The way it has this swirl design just adds so much charm and character to the ring and not only would this ring suit any finger, but it would also make a very sweet engagement ring.
Measuring 10.3mm across by 9.1mm, this ring is as beautiful today as when it was made.
