High grade Hamilton pocket watch
$2,350.00
In brilliant condition comes this antique Hamilton pocket watch made in 1913 that has the sought after Montgomery dial and extremely high grade Hamilton 992 movement.
A Montgomery dial is one where each minute is individually numbered for quick and easy reading, and was first designed for railroad workers. This one is spotlessly clean and still so easy to read, and being a railway grade pocket watch has some more additional features.
The rolled gold case that measures 50mm across is a lever set movement which means the front is unscrewed to reveal the small lever, that once pulled out sets the hands by turning the crown. This was designed to prevent the time inadvertent being changed by mistakenly pulling the crown out. Then once pushed back in, the movement is continued to be wound via the crown.
Then inside is a further work or art – the spectacular 21 jewelled Hamilton movement which is so beautiful to admire. Fully serviced by our in-house watchmakers and complete with a twelve month warranty, this pocket watch keeps perfect time and is a testament to the quality of the movement.
In superb condition both on the outside and in, this is a spectacular pocket watch that both looks and feels great to hold in the palm of your hand.
