Jaeger LeCoultre MKVII

MK VII (Mark 7) 1940's issue British Military watch. Very rare.
This is rare!
An original Jaeger LeCoultre wrist watch made for the British Air Ministry in 1940.
this watch was issued to the navigators of the bombers for missions flown during WWII.
this watch is called the Mark VII, which in itself is a very difficult watch to find, however of the MKVII's that were made, most used either an Omega or IWC movement.
It is a manual wind movement with rotating bezel, and locking stem at the 5 O'Clock position.
The dial is all original, and has not been re-painted, and the bezel has not been re-plated. Please note, dials can be re-painted, but we have decided to keep this as original as possible, even though the dial is showing evidence of its age.
We included other images of the movement as well as the back of the case.
AM = Air Ministry;
MKVIIA = Mark 7
6B = Flying equipment
S.S&S = Case material i.e. Stainless Steel.

The movement has all been serviced, and comes with a guarantee.
