Ladies Victorian era antique rose gold Albertina from the 1880’s

$0.00

Originally the Albertina, or leontine as it is also known as, was designed to hold a ladies pocket watch on one end and attached to an outfit via the tee bar, however today these are more commonly worn as a bracelet and here is a ladies Victorian era antique rose gold Albertina from the 1880’s

Made in 9ct rose gold, the colour of the gold has that wonderful soft colour to it that itself is so beautiful to admire.

At one end there is the attractive tassel made of foxtail links which has such a lovely tactile feel and texture to it and is still in excellent condition and at the other end is the swivel. With a fancy section in the centre and a delightful tee bar made in a twisted design, from end to end the Albertina measures 24.5cm and 18cm when the clip is attached to the round link near the tee bar, making it perfect to wear as a bracelet.

Antique Albertina’s can also be attached to a chain to make a stunning necklace or joined to a second one to again make a necklace, making these not only versatile but also so very beautiful and special.
