Late Victorian era antique pearl pendant that converts to a brooch

Not only is this antique piece lovely and large, but also versatile in how you choose to wear it.

Made in 18 carat yellow gold in the late Victorian period of the 1890's, not only can this be worn as a brooch, but it can so easily be converted to a brooch.

Measuring 28mm wide, it measures 49.7mm to the top of the pearl set bail which can simply be removed then worn as a brooch, and then measures 41.7mm high.

As seen on the back of the brooch, removing the bail is a matter of simply sliding it along the bar and once removed will allow the brooch to sit nice and flat on any outfit without this piece being both visible and pushing the brooch forward.

Regardless of how you choose to wear this piece, the design is absolutely stunning and so elegant with all of the pearls a perfect compliment to the yellow gold, and no matter the occasion this is sure to always be admired.

Both beautiful and versatile, this is a wonderful example of allowing antique jewellery to be worn in different ways depending on the occasion.
