Here is a very rare and unusual self-winding travelling alarm watch by Movado and dating from the 1940's.
Movado made a few variations of these, with the top of the range beign the ones that would "self-wind" as the case is opened and closed - as is this particular model.
To make this that bit extra special, is the alarm function added, giving it a great "cricket" sound when it goes off.
Measuring 49mm (when closed) x 75mm (when extended) x 37mm (height) and with a retractable stand at the rear to sit it up on a bedside table, and covered in crocodile skin, this self winding Movado is one for the collectors, or for someone who want's something so unusual and unique.
