One of the most iconic and famous watches by Omega would have to be the Omega Speedmaster "Moon Watch" and here is one that is in brilliant condition with the very rare calibre movement, the Omega Speedmaster Moon Watch reference 145.0022/345.0022.
The Omega Moonwatch has always remained a favourite for any collector and lover of watches thanks for the historical achievement of going to the moon, its great style and size and the talking point that it always is.
This particular Omega Moonwatch is quite an interesting one as the movement was made in 1985 as the Omega calibre 861, however between 1992 to 1994 the excess 861 calibre movements were upgraded to the Omega calibre 864 calibre (as is inside this Moonwatch) and then sold between these years. These movements were destined to be chronometer certified but for whatever reason were not and after 2 years the Omega Speedmaster calibre changed yet again.
Measuring 41mm across plus the crown and pushers, it is fitted with the infamous NASA requirement hesalite crystal and fitted on the stainless steel Omega band.
An iconic watch that is steeped in history, this is a great example of an Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch to wear all the time with pride.
