Art Deco rings are so highly sought after at the moment and here we have a magnificent 1930’s Art Deco sapphire and diamond ring of both exceptional quality and design.
Platinum is the purest of all the precious metals used in jewellery and is the purest white colour and incredible in its ability to be drawn into a fine wire for detail, all the white being strong enough to support gemstones, in this case the centre sapphire and surrounding sapphires.
Set into the centre is a vivid 1.35 carat sapphire set surrounded by the most intricate pierce worked design which is highlighted by twenty diamonds. Along the edge of the sapphire as well as the setting around the diamonds, it has been finished with the millgrain setting which can be seen as the elegant crimping along the edge often seen in Art Deco jewellery.
The rectangle section itself measures 19.5mm by 13mm and leads to the band, each side further set with a diamond. The total diamond weight for this ring is 1.76 carats and all sparkle magnificently.
Even the band has been finely hand engraved and turning the ring upside down reveals exquisite detail and craftsmanship that shows the quality of this ring.
Truly a fine and elegant ring, nothing quite beats a genuine Art Deco ring adorning your finger in the knowledge that there is not another one exactly the same like it anywhere in the world.
