Made in 18ct yellow gold, comes this very handsome Rolex Day Date President reference 1803 pie pan dial model. Since its launch in 1956, the Rolex Day Date "President" has been synonymous with success.
With both the day and the date being a unique feature to the watch, this one dates from 1967 and has the sought after pie-pan dial. So called as it curves at the edge of the dial, this gives an already wonderful looking Rolex, an even more attractive feature.
Made in the solid 18ct yellow gold Rolex Oyster case which measures 36mm plus the Rolex screw down crown, this watch sits so well on the wrist and has a Rolex buckle. On the leather band, this gives it a more subtle look than those on the gold President bracelet and will be a bit more comfortable to wear for people who deserve a Rolex President but don't want too much gold showing.
Inside is the superb 26 jewelled automatic Rolex calibre 1556 that comes with our twelve month warranty and runs perfectly.
Able to look so smart and stylish no matter where or when it is being worn, this Rolex President is such a handsome and elegant watch.

Since its release in 1956, the Rolex Day Date "President" has always remained a sought after Rolex model. The Rolex Day Date became one to represent success and accomplishment as it was worn by some very influential people. Becoming known as the “Presidents’ watch†as several US presidents wore one. These included US Presidents such as Dwight Eisenhower, John F Kennedy, Ronald Reagan, Richard Nixon. The Rolex Day Date has also been worn by Winston Churchill. Initially the tern “President†referred to the type of bracelet attached to the Day Date, however it soon came to commonly refer to the entire timepiece. The Rolex Day Date 1803 was introduced in 1961 and over the years has undergone some changes. Most notably with the movement, and until recently a now larger watch case.
The pie pan dial is so-called as the edge of the dial is not flat. Rather it is turned down on the edge. This can be seen in some vintage Omega watches as well as Rolex watches. The Rolex pie-pan dial is a lovely subtle feature that has increased in demand in recent years.
