Description

Stainless steel 2001 Rolex Submariner no date 14060M

A brief history on the Rolex Submariner no date 14060M:
The Rolex Submariner 14060 and 14060m is a classic and iconic model with a few things that set the 14060 apart from the other Rolex watches and indeed Rolex sports models.

First introduced in 1990, the 14060 was fitted with a sapphire crystal and and Rolex triplock crown giving it a 300 meter water resistance, while the uncluttered 2-line dial without the date bubble magnifier gives it a clean smooth look. The Rolex calibre 3000 (along with the 3035) has a twenty seven jewelled movement with a forty two power reserve, while the Rolex calibre 3135 has a thirty one jewelled movement with a power reserve of fifty hours. The Rolex calibre 3135 also has the updated and higher beat calibre that has a full balance bridge and a larger balance wheel.

How often should I service my Rolex?

We recommend to service your Rolex every five years. If you wear the watch in water, we strongly suggest having your Rolex watch, or any watch for that matter, pressure tested once a year.

Where can I service my Rolex watch in Sydney?

Kalmar Antiques now employ a Rolex trained watchmaker on site!

When we expanded and renovated our store in late 2022, we put in not only a full watchmaking and polishing workshop, but a watchmaker who used to work for Rolex for nearly seven years. This allows us to be able to service your Rolex to Rolex standards, as well as other watch brands such as Omega, Cartier and Patek Philippe to name a few. We are also now an authorised OMEGA watch service centre. This allows us to be able to service your Omega watch to full Omega specifications all on-site.
