This is an antique brooch of incredible beauty and style.
Typical of the mid-Victorian era of 1850, this decadent
antique diamond brooch looks amazing when worn, or just held in the
palm of your hand.
Hand made in 15ct rose gold – a carat of gold no longer used today,
and with the diamonds set in silver so typical of the Georgian and Victorian times
as white gold and platinum were not yet discovered, this brooch is just so
exciting to behold.
The cut of the diamonds are a mixture of old European cut diamonds –
the forerunner to the modern brilliant cuts – and the ever sweet rose
In total there are a total of 84 diamonds, totalling a very impressive 7.72 carats.
Suspended from the two “branches” on the right hand side of the brooch, are 7 diamonds that dangle ever so sweetly.
This is an amazing example of an antique that is in brilliant
condition, and one that can be handed down through the generations.
