The more traditional star burst brooches do not often have the extra “bursts” between the 6 main points, and the central cluster of diamonds looks brilliant.
There are a total of 163 diamonds, with the central diamond being a old European cut, and the others being the sought after rose cut diamonds.
In total the diamonds weigh 2.98cts, so there is quite alot of sparkle.
Antique brooches look amazing, and this Victorian era brooch is no exception.
