Vintage 1970 Breitling Navitimer

Rolex has the Submariner, Jaeger LeCoultre the Reverso, Cartier the Tank, and without a doubt the most iconic and famous model from Breitling would have to be the Breitling Navitimer, and here is a fantastic vintage Breitling Navitimer 806 watch dating from 1970 that looks so good on the wrist and will always be such a talking point.

This particular Breitling Navitimer has the early double wing or “twin jet” logo at the top and the reverse panda dial which refers to the black dial with white sub-dials with the larger sub-dials than the earlier models.

the stainless steel case measures 40mm across plus the crown and pushers, and the dial has a wonderful patina that collectors are always after. Still easy to read, it has all the functions of a flight scale for pilots to work out such things as fuel and distance loads.

Inside is the manual wind Venus 178 TJ movement which keeps perfect time and has just been completely serviced by our in-house watchmaker comes with our twelve month warranty.

A fantastic iconic watch that looks as good on the ground as it does in the air, and one watch that has become so iconic.
