This watch was made by the esteemed jewellery and watchmaking company of E. Gübelin in the mid-1940’s and has the most stylish and elegant black dial, combined with a beautiful case that sits beautifully on the wrist.
The original black dial has achieved the most wonderful patina and the solid 18 carat yellow gold case measures 38mm across plus the crown and actually looks bigger on the wrist than expected. The dial looks truly exceptional and has a look about it that is the epitome of the 1940’s when the watch was made. With a combination of index markers and Roman numerals, along with the long centre sweep seconds hand, this is such a stylish watch that will compliment any suit perfectly.
Inside the 17 jewelled manual wind movement is just as beautiful to admire with a high grade regulator and comes complete with our twelve month warranty.
