David Andersen jewellery has always been so well known and sought after, thanks in part to the designs as well as the vibrant colours in the enamel used, as can be seen here in this incredible enamel butterfly.
Made in sterling silver in the 1930's, the butterfly measures 54.5mm across by 30.3mm and will no doubt always look amazing on any outfit that it is worn on.
With such incredible colours that seem to explode outwards, this is without a doubt one of the most colourful brooches that was ever made by David Andersen and showcases why David Andersen jewellery has always be highly prized and regarded.
Still in wonderful condition, this is an amazing enamel butterfly brooch by one of Denmark's most famous jewellers.

A brief history on David Andersen jewellery:
David Andersen founded his company in Oslo (formerly Christiania) in 1876. David Andersen was an accomplished gold and silversmith who achieved great fame early on in his career thanks to his high standard of quality and influential designs in his jewellery. Twelve years after opening, he expanded his workshop and in 1892 opened a second store.
After his death in 1901, his son Arthur took over and instigated the hyphen between the name David and Andersen. He also introduced enameling into the jewellery which was so success it has now become synonymous with David Andersen jewellery.
