Vintage Rolex Date model 1501 with original papers
Finding vintage Rolex watches with their original papers is becoming so hard to come by, and this vintage Rolex Date 1501 has not only its original chronometer papers, but also its original Rolex swing tag.
The Rolex Date 1501 was produced between 1963 to 1980. The 1501 has a milled bezel similar to that on the Rolex Turn-O-Graphs of the same era. This fixed bezel has raised hour intervals with hash marks in between giving it such a distinct and visually pleasing look.
Powered by the twenty six jewelled automatic Rolex calibre 1570, this chronometer certified movement beats at 19.8KBPH and has a frequency of 19,800 VPH.
