Demand for vintage Rolex watches has increased so rapidly over the last few years, and without a doubt demand for the original and iconic Rolex Datejust 1601 has just kept going up and up, and here is a great looking vintage Rolex 1601 with the stylish wedge index dial.
Especially with vintage watches, it is so often all about the dial being both original and unique and this one ticks both boxes. The wedge index dial is one that as the name implies has instead of straight and flat index markers, they are actually angled. This can be seen on both the six and nine o'clock index markers that give this vintage Rolex even more charm and character and makes it such a wonderful talking point.
Made in the stainless steel case with the white gold bezel, the case measures 36mm across plus the Rolex screw down crown and is fitted on the Rolex Jubilee band which is the earlier design with the links folded over.
Powered by the reliable 26 jewelled automatic Rolex calibre 1570 that has been fully serviced, this vintage Rolex has achieved the right look and feel and will always no doubt be admired and appreciated every time that it is worn.
