15ct antique REGARD ring made in 1873

 Antique REGARD rings are becoming so hard to find, and this one is just superb.

A REGARD ring is named because of the first letter of each gemstone spelling out the word “Regard”.

 In this case we have Ruby, Emerald, Garnet, Amethyst, Ruby and Diamond.

Made in 15ct rose gold, this REGARD ring was made in Birmingham 1873, and the scroll work on the side so typical of the Victorian era jewellers of the time and is just wonderful to admire.

 This is a truly beautiful antique REGARD ring for someone who appreciates fine antique rings.

Antique Georgian REGARD ring circa 1810

 Here is a superb Regard ring from the Georgian era, and dating from around the early 1800’s.

 Regard is “spelt” out in this ring by the first letter of each gemtstone, spelling out the word. Here we have a Ruby, Emerald, Garnet, Amethyst, Ruby and a Diamond.

 This particular Regard ring is unlike any that we have had before, in that is also has a locket compartment in the front.

  Made in 15ct rose gold, the colour of the gold has achieved such a wonderful patina, and the scroll work on the sides is just delightful.

 Georgian regard rings are becoming quite hard to find, and to find one as unique as this is a real treasure and one for any loverof high quality antique jewellery.

15ct antique REGARD ring from the 1890’s

 Regard rings are a great reminder of a time gone by, as the meaning of this ring and the combinations of the gemstones is still as romantic today, as when this ring was made well over 110 years ago.
 
 The gemstones in this ring are a Ruby, Emerald, Garnet, Amethyst, Ruby and Diamond, with the first letter of each gemstone spelling out the word “REGARD”, and was giving between two loved ones.
 
 This particular antique regard ring is made in 15ct rose gold, and the setting is so delightful, as is the hand emgraving on the band.
 
 A truly delightful and romantic antique ring from the Victorian era.

Hinged antique REGARD brooch.

 REGARD jewellery is so sweet in the meaning behind it.

With precious gemstones spelling out the word “REGARD” here we have a magnificent antique brooch set with a Ruby, Emerald, Garnet, Amethyst, Ruby and a Diamond.

 The brooch measures 3cm  x 1.2cm and was made in 15ct gold. Regard brooches are quite hard to find, and the beauty of this one is not yet over.

 As can be seen in the other images, it is hinged to open to reveal a compartment.

This is a feature that we have never before seen, making this one simply spectacular.

 Fitted in its original box retailed in England at the start of the Edwardian era of 1900, this is a brooch for anyone who trult admires and appreciated the elegance of jewellery from yesteryear.

 This is one of the nicest examples of a Regard ring that we have had the pleasure of retailing.

 Made in Birmingham in 1891, it is made in 15ct gold and has the most wonderful attention to detail all around the ring.
 From the workmanship around the gemstones which spell out the word REGARD (Ruby, Emerald, Garnet, Amethyst, Ruby and Diamond), to the fine hand engraving on the band, this work is so typical of a quality antique ring of the Victorian era.

Here we have one from the Victorian era of the 1880’s, with each of the gemstones first letter spelling out the word “Regard”.

Here is such a versatile piece of jewellery that can so easily be worn as either a brooch or a pendant and regardless of how you choose to wear it, there is no doubt that it will always look perfect.

Dating from the late Victorian era of the 1890’s, this magnificent piece was made in 15 carat gold and has the most wonderful colour that is a perfect match for the pearls.

Made with a detachable pearl set bail that is so easy to remove, the advantage of this is that when it is worn as a brooch, it will not restrict the way it is being worn, and putting this back on is just as easy and can then be worn perfectly as a pendant.

Measuring 3cm in diameter by 3.7cm from the bottom to the top when the bail is attached, this is such an elegant and refined piece of antique jewellery that is so easy to wear in two different ways.

Handmade in 18 carat white gold and platinum, in the centre is a stunning solid Lightning Ridge black opal that absolutely captures the eye. With incredible spectral colours that will never cease to amaze, set around this magnificent opal are  16 single cut diamonds that sparkle beautifully and total 0.48 carats.

Then to compliment the ring even further, both the opal and the diamonds have a millgrain finish which is the very elegant crimping around the setting which was popular during the Art Deco era.
