Made in the late 1800's, this carriage clock was retailed by the Australian jewellery and watch company, Thomas Gaunt & Co and is signed accordingly on the dial.
The case measures 11cm tall or 14cm with the handle up by 8cm across and 6cm deep and will sit perfectly on a mantle shelf, desk or bedside table perfectly.

Antique repeater carriage clock made by the French company, Couaillet
Here is a very high grade antique repeater carriage clock that was made by the French company, Couaillet in the 1890's and has just come back from a complete overhaul of both the lever escapement movement and the case as well.
A repeater carriage clock is one that strikes the hour by pressing the button on the top as well as striking the hours and one strike for the half hour. The beautiful "ping" that sounds as it strikes the hours and half hours is so delightful to hear, and combine this with the beautiful aesthetics of it, and you have a clock that will not only look perfect in any room, but sound just as charming.
The case measures 13cm high (or 17.5cm to the top of the handle when it is up) by 9.5cm wide and 8cm deep and typical of carriage clocks of the time, shows the beautiful movement from all sides, including the top.

Most antique carriage clocks measure around 13 to 15cm tall, but here is a fabulous antique miniature carriage clock that stands a mere 8.3cm tall and comes with its original box.
Made by the French company Couaillet in the early 1900's, this is one of the most charming antique carriage clocks that has the additional unique feature by being engraved on the front with a kangaroo sitting atop a boomerang, W and A on either end of the boomerang and "1931" underneath. This gives this clock such a wonderful unique feature and makes it so exciting to admire.
With a spotless white enamel dial with numbers, the glass side and back panels allow you to see the wonderful movement that has been completely serviced and overhauled and comes with our twelve month warranty.

Beautiful antique carriage clock retailed by J Boseck & Co
The firm J Boseck & Co were manufacturers and retailers of gold and silver products in India, as well as selling wrist watches and clocks. Indeed, after Sir Edmund Hillary successfully climbed Mount Everest in 1953, he was presented with a Rolex by J Boseck & Co, and here we have a very beautiful antique carriage clock retailed them in the late 1800's.
From every angle, this clock is so striking with its gorgeous pillars and handle as well as the detail on the top and bottom that is emphasised by having a subtle red background that stands out against the rich golden-yellow of the case.
The dial displays numerals in such a wonderful font and the background plate that it is set onto has the most incredible design that will make you admire it from near or far.
Measuring 12.5cm tall (or 14.5cm to the top of the handle, by 7.8cm wide and 6.7cm deep, the clock is powered by a high quality lever escapement by the French clock making company Couaillet that has just come back from a complete overhaul, runs great and comes with our twelve month warranty.

Antique carriage clock in a beautiful and rare two colour engraved case
Dating from the late 1800's, this antique carriage clock was made in such a beautiful and rare two colour engraved case that will look perfect in any room.
Made in France, the white enamel dial is signed "Freres Constantaran" at the top and "Constinople" at the bottom and would have been made for the Turkish market. The case itself measures 11.5cm tall (or 15cm to the top of the handle) by 7cm wide and 8 cm deep and has not only the most incredible and tactile engraved case which is amazing, but this is also in a rose and yellow colour. The case is truly exceptional and compliments the numerals on the dial.
With the side, top and back glass panels allowing you to see the movement, the 8 day movement itself is a fine quality lever escapement that has just come back from an extensive and complete service and overhaul and comes with our twelve month warranty.

Most carriage clocks measure around 15cm (5.9") tall, however he is a very beautiful and elegant antique miniature carriage clock made in the 1890's that measures a mere 8cm (3.1") tall and will suit anywhere from a bedside table, a cabinet or a desk.
To the top of the handle it measures 10.5cm tall by 5.5cm wide and 5cm deep, and has its original beveled edged glass panels allowing you to see the beautiful movement from the side as well as the top.
The dial is so attractive and quite unique with Roman numerals in blue and the 5 minute numerals in red. With stylish hands to compliment the dial and set on a silver back plate, the columns on the side of the case all come together to beautifully enhance the style and design of this clock.

Here is an exceedingly rare triple date miniature carriage clock that is so special for so many reasons that make it so unique.
Whereas most carriage clocks measure around 13 to 15cm tall, this one measures just a mere 7.5cm tall and even when it measures 9.5cm with the handle up, it is still smaller than the standard carriage clock. This is such a neat, compact size that will look so smart on any bedside table, mantle or desk.
Then there is the fact that this not only displays the time, but is also called a triple date clock, meaning that it can be set to display the day, date and even the month. Any triple date clocks take the piece to a whole new level of quality, and this is certainly a quality carriage clock from every angle that you look at it. And all of this is made even more amazing by its miniature size. The aesthetics of this clock are perfect, from the dial to the movement which is visible from all sides including the top.
The movement is made by the Swiss clock maker Alphonse Maeder in the late 1800's and has been completely service and overhauled with all the functions running perfectly and complete with our twelve month warranty.

The case which measures 12.1cm high (or 16.2cm to the top of the handle) by 8.2cm wide by 7.5cm deep, has also been polished and sealed.
With the original glass panels able to show you the movement from all sides, the dial displays Roman numerals and is signed with the retailer, "Marshall & Sons Paris"

Made in the late 1800's by the Swiss company Couaillet, both the case and the movement has been extensively restored and is in full working order. The dial is all original with the stylish black Roman numerals on the white dial, and this clock will strike every time it reaches the half hour mark as well as on the hour with the most beautiful tone.

A repeater carriage clock is one that strikes the hour when you wish by pressing the button on the top. And not only will it chime on command, but it will also strike the hours and half hour as well resulting in a lovely soft "ping" that will be heard and loved.
The white enamel dial is all original and displays traditional Roman numerals and is signed "James Crichton & Co Edinburgh. Made in France". This British watch and clock making company started in the late 1800's and would have imported this clock from France and put their name on the dial.
The movement was made by the esteemed company Couaillet which started in the 1890's and produced very high end carriage clocks such as this one here. This carriage clock has been extensively restored and is in amazing condition and comes with our twelve month warranty.

Art Deco guilloché enamel miniature Zenith carriage clock
Just look at the quality and size of this gorgeous Art Deco guilloché enamel miniature Zenith carriage clock and it will be so easy to fall in love with it. Miniature carriage clocks are also known as boudoir clocks and when you consider that this clock was made in the 1920’s, it takes you back to this wonderful hedonistic era. This carriage clock measures just 4.7cm tall plus the handle. It also measures 3.5cm wide by 1.6cm deep and it is this wonderful small size that adds so much charm and character to it.
And then there is the wonderful case that is enamelled in a technique called guilloché enamel. This is one of the most popular of all the enamel techniques and it is so easy to see why. Produced by a very precise and repetitive pattern that is engraved into an underlying material such as gold or silver, it then has the enamel applied over the top and after the firing process is complete, it is polished back to a high lustre revealing the engraved pattern below the surface.
Made by Zenith, this watchmaking company is still around today and regarded as one of the finest in the world, and the movement in this miniature carriage clock has just come back from a full service and comes with our twelve month warranty.
And then to add a further piece of charm to this clock, it comes presented in its original travel case which allows it to sit inside and be protected. The back cover of this case can be removed to hold the key securely in place.
