Aquamarine and pearl necklace made in the Art Deco era
Here is such an elegant example of Art Deco jewellery from the 1920's that is perfect to wear for any occasion, day or night and always look perfect. Made in 9 carat gold, laid out from end to end, the chain measures 45.3cm in length and in the centre sits a beautiful round aquamarine that leads down to a pear shaped section set with a pearl and a further pear cut aquamarine. The two aquamarines total 0.95 carats and display such a fine blue, and the design of the lower section is so subtle and elegant. The simple border spaced around the aquamarine gives it a look all unto itself and separates it from a standard modern necklace. As beautiful today as when it was made 100 years ago, this necklace will so easily suit any woman of any age. Stock #ES9549 Circa: 1920 $1,750
