Art Deco diamond bracelet hand made in 14 carat gold and platinum
The designs that were created during the Art Deco period of the 1920's to the 1940's was simply breathtaking and there is no doubt that this bracelet from the Art Deco period will always be loved and admired thanks not just from the sparkle of the diamonds, but the design itself being so elegant and stylish.
Hand made in the 1920's in 14 carat yellow gold and platinum, the exquisite pierce work design that can be seen in the centre section is just amazing and a testament to the quality of work and craftsmanship that went into making this bracelet during the wonderful Art Deco period.
In the centre sits a European cut diamond that measures 0.90 carats with a further three European cut diamonds and six single cut diamonds set on each side. The detail in this section will have you admiring it from near or far and exemplifies why jewellery from the Art Deco period has never gone out of fashion or style.
And then at each end set between the top section and the gate link style band, there are a further three more European cut diamonds and the total diamond weight of all of these additional diamonds in the top section plus the band come together to add a further 1.68 carats of diamond weight to the bracelet.

Art Deco 18ct gold and platinum diamond bracelet from the 1920’s
Here is a divine Art Deco 18ct gold and platinum diamond bracelet from the 1920's that will look as elegant during the day as it will well into the night.
So beautifully hand made, the bracelet is set with seven larger European cut diamonds and twenty four smaller rose cut diamonds. The diamonds come together to total 1.16 carats, however it is not just a matter of this being another diamond bracelet - there is just so much more than its modern counterpart. Being hand made allows for such incredible detail that is matched with the beautiful pure white colour emanating from the platinum and the setting has what is called a millgrain setting. This can be seen as the fine and elegant crimping along the edge of the setting which is often seen in Art Deco jewellery and finishes a piece off so well.
There is such a difference to a diamond bracelet being too gaudy and over the top, to one like this which is so incredibly elegant. At the centre diamond it measures 4.8mm wide by 50mm from one end diamond across to the other, and from end to end the bracelet itself measures 17cm in length and is fitted with a safety chain for added security.

These diamonds total 17.44 carats and sparkle magnificently day or night.
The design is so typically Art Deco with the geometric design and pattern and so superbly made.
Platinum was the preferred precious metal used by jewellers of this period thanks to its pure white colour and ability to be so finely saw pierced out by hand and still retain the strength needed to hold all of the diamonds.
The bracelet is made up of four large panels with diamond set sections between.
Even the clasp is made of a hidden design that is not only set with diamonds but once closed conceals itself.
