Art Deco jewellery from the 1920's to the 1940's is one era that has never gone out of fashion or style thanks to the wonderful designs, such as can be seen here in this incredible Art Deco ruby and diamond pendant that is just exquisite. Hand made in platinum in the 1920's, this necklace is set with rubies and diamonds and sits so well on the neckline and is destined to always be loved and admired for its beauty and elegance. Sitting at the top and leading down are a total of nineteen diamonds with a further diamond sitting where the rubies start. These diamonds total 0.28 carats and have a magnificent sparkle to them. Then at the bottom are those incredible rubies that highlight this pendant so well. Not only do the rubies go all the way around the bottom section, but they also graduate in size so elegantly showcasing how much time and attention to detail was put into making this Art Deco pendant all those years ago. With a total weight of 0.28 carats, these rubies stand out so well against the pure white colour of the platinum. And then there is the gorgeous pear cut diamond that measures 1.18 carats and stands out so beautifully against the rubies. Laid out from end to the chain measures 41cm and from the top of the pendant section to the rubies at the bottom, this distance measures 3.7cm allowing this pendant to sit perfectly on the neckline. Day or night, there is no doubt that this Art Deco pendant will always stand out for its elegance and style and always be admired. Stock# ES7359 Circa: 1920 $Sold.
