Art Deco Spessartite garnet and diamond ring
Here is a truly spectacular Art Deco Spessartite garnet and diamond ring that looks incredible on the finger and certainly makes a statement.
Garnets come in a range of colours from the more common deep red-burgundy colours, through to purple, greens and orange and the spessartite garnet is one of the more rarer variety of garnets that has a wonderful burnt orange-red colour.
This ring was hand made in 18ct yellow gold and platinum with the most extraordinary attention to detail that is captivating from all sides. Sitting proudly in the centre is the spessartite garnet that measures 9.62 carats and has been independently certified by Gem Studies Laboratory.
The detail in this ring is just incredible and only achievable by hand making with the advantage of the diamonds set into platinum. A wonderful property of platinum is that it allows for it to be drawn into a fine wire all the while being able to hold and support not just the ring but the diamonds as well.
With twenty four European cut diamonds surrounding the garnet, there are an additional five more set on each side. These diamonds total 1.36 carats and even the way they have been set into the side is so beautiful and elegant and shows the high quality of craftsmanship that went into making this ring.
