Here is a truly incredible antique Japy Freres clock with sides by Taylor, Tunnicliffe & Co that dates from the end of the 19th Century and is grand in all proportions and respect and is unlike anything that you will ever see. This antique clock has been completely and extensively restored from the ground up including gilding the case in 24 carat gold and a complete overhaul of the movement. The movement was made by Japy Freres and has an eight-day movement that strikes on the hour and half hour and is spotlessly clean after a full restoration and comes with our twelve month warranty. When you hear it strike the hour or half hour, it will really make you appreciate this clock even more as the pitch is just perfect and a joy to hear. And from the front and sides the gorgeous panels are such a highlight to an already incredible antique clock. These panels were made by the English company Taylor, Tunnicliffe & Co. These front and side panels are just incredible and so rare to get on a clock. With the floral detail on gorgeous colours, these really stand out so elegantly against the rich 24ct gold gilded case. And then there is the height of the case which itself is amazing. Standing an impressive 50cm tall, it also measures 28cm wide by 23.5cm deep and at this size will really stand out in any room. It is very rare to get a clock this tall and to find one with the magnificent panels that it displays and quality of the detail truly makes this one of the more impressive antique clocks around. Unlike any other antique clock, this one is just incredible from any side that you look at it.
