Platinum Art Deco diamond engagement ring from the 1920’s
Here is a truly spectacular hand made platinum Art Deco diamond engagement ring from the 1920's that has such breathtaking detail from all angles and sides that you look at it.
Beautifully hand made to the finest detail, platinum was very popular during the Art Deco period and has the distinct advantage over white gold in that it remains a pure white colour as well as having the incredible ability to be drawn into a fine wire and still retain the strength to hold the diamonds.
To begin with there is the vibrant European cut diamond that measures 1.02 carats and sits so proudly in the centre of the ring. The diamond is K in colour and VS in clarity and thanks to being a very clean diamond as well as a genuine antique European cut diamond, the colour is no where as noticeable as one would imagine. And then to highlight this diamond as well as the incredible work and detail there are three diamonds running down each side as well as ten more on each of the opposite sides. The way they flow across the sides you will see that they elegantly graduate in size and all of this work is highlighted further by the hand engraving. These additional diamonds total 0.30 carats and add such an elegant sparkle to an already incredible ring.
There is no doubt that so much time and attention went into hand making this ring in platinum all those years ago, resulting in a spectacular Art Deco diamond engagement ring like no other.
