There is nothing quite like the feel of a genuine pocket watch in the palm of hour hand and this certainly applies to this Elgin pocket watch in a solid 14ct yellow gold case.
Made in 1922, this Elgin pocket watch has all the style and character of not only pocket watches but jewellery from the 1920's Art Deco era.
Starting with the dial itself, the numerals are designed in a wonderful font characteristic of this era and are in numerals instead of the more common Roman numerals that will be found on most pocket watches.
The hands themselves are also very attractive with a nice fancy design that is not over the top which matches the second hand at the bottom and then there is that delightful fancy inner circle design in the centre.
As mentioned before, the case is in solid 14ct yellow gold with a lovely engraved design on the edge as well, the side and back of the pocket watch and has the engrave plate plain where it can be engraved with someones initials to personalise it.
Even the bow at the top is finished in this design adding to the charm and character of this Elgin pocket watch.
The case measures 43.6mm across and fits perfectly in the hand.
Inside the pocket watch is the most amazing 17 jewelled crown wind and set grade 345 movement that has been fully serviced, runs perfect and comes with our 1 year warranty.
This is a great solid gold Elgin pocket from 1922 that will be a perfect gift for a special occasion.
