14ct Hampden pocket watch.
$0.00
Here is a pocket watch that is well over 120 years old, and still in fantastic condition and running perfectly.
Made in 1888 by the Hampden (Dueber) Watch Company, this pocket watch was made in a solid 14ct yellow gold case that measures 40mm across, and on both sides has the most sensational hand engraved pattern. Most pocket watches that were like this, were machine pressed as opposed to hand engraved, and the hours needed to engrave a case such as this would have been very long.
The dial is so beautiful with the Roman numerals, the enamelled flower pattern and those wonderful hands. The dial itself is still in perfect condition, testament to the quality of this company.
Produced in Canton Ohio, this pocket watch company is well respected for the fine quality movements that were produced, and for the high quality of hand engraved cases as this one displays.
A wonderful collectable antique pocket watch that is beautiful to admire from every angle.
