15 carat gold and platinum Art Deco boulder opal and diamond necklace

This necklace was made in 15 carat gold in the 1920's Art Deco period and is so elegant in its design that it has and never will go out of fashion or style.

Sitting perfectly around the neck, at the bottom is a magnificent Australian boulder opal that displays all the spectral colours from blue all the way though to the highly desired red. The colours that can be seen in this opal are immense and truly captivates the eye.

Leading up to the top, there is a European cut diamond and at the very top a further European cut diamond. These diamonds come together to total 0.16 carats, and both are elegantly set with a surrounding circular design that adds that extra amount of charm and charter to the piece. This drop section measures 3.7cm in length, and laid out from end to end, the chain measures 44cm.

With a beautiful opal, and two sparkling diamonds all set into such an elegant design, there is no doubt that this necklace will always be admired every single time that it is worn.
