Dating from the Victorian period of the 1880's, this 15ct Albertina looks and feels so gorgeous with its intricate and femine style to it.
Originally designed in the Victorian era of the 1800's as a way for a woman to wear her pocket watch and connect it securely to her dress, the tee bar at one end would be attached through a button hole with the pocket watch attached to the other, making it safe as well as easily accessible.
Now more commonly worn as a bracelet, this antique Albertina has such a gorgeous colour thanks to being made in 15ct gold. 15ct gold was only used for a short time period from 1854 until 1931 and as it is no longer produced today, makes this Albertina even more special.
At one end is a swivel clip and the other the most beautiful tassel and from one end to the end of the other, measures 22cm in length. As these are now commonly worn as a bracelet, near the tee bar is a link for the swivel to attach to, making this into a bracelet that measures 22cm in length.
With a gorgeous section at the centre, combined with the style of yesteryear, this elegant Albertina will always delight the wearer now matter how it is worn.
