What an attractive antique solid opal and diamond bar brooch made in the early 1900's.
The brooch measures 5.7cm in length and the three solid Australian opals have such fire to them. The largest opal measures 9.3mm by 7.1mm, the centre opal 7.8mm by 5.9mm and the end opal 6.2mm by 4.6mm and all are matched so well for colour.
With the 4 old European cut diamonds adding sparkle to this brooch, they total 0.52 carats.
All set in a 15ct rose gold setting, this opal and diamond brooch is also fitted with a safety chain for extra security.
