Dating from the 1860’s, the hand carving in each earrings is just exquisite and so finely detailed and shows the quality of the craftsmanship that was achieved over 150 years ago.
Each earring measures 20mm in diameter by 31.2mm from top to bottom and are set on lovely long and secure shepherd hooks.
Even where the shepherd hooks attach to the circular section, this has been finished with a small trefoil design and surrounding the earrings are two woven gold threads that cross over each other so beautifully.
So elegant, these antique Etruscan earrings are just divine.
