Dating from the 1870's, these antique earrings have all the charm and character of the mid-Victorian period. With a beautiful Etruscan design to them, there were made in 15ct rose gold. 15ct gold was only used for a relatively brief period from 1854 to 1931, and the colour in this 15ct rose gold has such a lovely warm tone to it.
These earrings sit perfectly on the ear and measure 44.3mm from the bottom to the very top of the shepherd hook by 17.1mm across at its widest section.
Antique earrings are becoming so hard to find in good condition, and these are still wonderful nearly 150 years later.
