Hand made in 18 carat yellow gold and platinum in the 1920’s, the brooch measures an impressive 70.1mm in length by 4.4mm wide and can so easily be worn horizontal as well as on an angle and no there is little doubt that this brooch will always be admired from near or far. The rubies stand out so beautifully set into the pure white of the platinum and the sparkle from the diamonds and in total there are forty four rubies that total 1.23 carats.
With three European cut diamonds in the centre and fifty five single cut diamonds along the rest of the brooch, these diamonds come together to total 1.02 carats.
Fitted in its original box by Pearce & Sons, this is such an elegant brooch that will never go out of fashion or style.
