Dating from the 1930’s and beautifully hand made in 18ct white gold and platinum, this ring would make a wonderful engagement ring and one that not only has a lovely antique European cut diamond sitting proudly in the centre, but also the most beautiful setting from the top and the side.
Hand made by the Australian jeweller Gordon Holdsworth (1886-1968) it is stamped with his surname inside as well as the 18 carat and platinum stamp inside. Looking at the ring from the side shows the way the band moves up to the top and then curves in a delightful scroll design that seems to embrace and hold the diamond in the centre.
Measuring 0.60 carats, the diamond is a lovely antique European cut diamond that has all the charm and character of being hand cut all those years ago and is I in colour and Si in clarity.
Easily able to accommodate a wedding band on the side, this is a very lovely and elegant engagement ring that will always be loved.
